i dont think this is as big of a deal tbh - but it shows you that its always +EV to be a dev and not the last in line buyer

@solsticefi has bigger issues than that - its launching and raising at a time when traditionally every single coin is instadumped and its been years since a YT for anything has printed

solana defi is mostly dead since a good year and half ago, trust me on this ive been around - few of the good projects arent pushing marketing and trying to be pandering as hard as this one, take what you will from that

u prob wont get rugged on presale but u will have 3 hours to sell in profit and if you are not at a computer you are royally fucked and the token is literally not needed as is the case with most (all) projects

again, scope for profit is limited, thats main issue, not whether something is a "scam"

everythings a scam one way or the other, theres just levels and nuance to it

🚩 Seeing FUD about Solstice resurface again and their supposed involvement with XR network...

A few months ago Ryan, CMO of @solsticefi replied to Wals who also questioning about this. He wrote:

"Wanted to fill in some gaps for you and the rest of the community here. Solstice is not related to the business of XR, and as anyone can quickly verify, Ben and all other co-founders of Solstice were not in any way part of the team at XR.

This FUD appears to be coming from individuals who were a part of the community during XR’s failed launch. A few quick facts to let you know why people are saying these things:

- XR was building a web3 gaming infrastructure project. Web3 gaming as a vertical has seen a lot of projects shut down over the last 6-12 months.
- Two team members who were a part of the failed XR launch and have since joined Solstice.
- Ben and all co-founders of solstice were never a part of the XR team.

We're committed to full transparency, both off and onchain. All Solstice metrics, security, and protocol resilience can be verified on chain at each step of our journey. We're happy everyone is doing their due diligence before investing funds, this is a great step. And we're excited to continue to prove to you why we think Solstice is the place to do just that."

Best to check through what is on record about this, before posting FUD imo...
