Olympus v1 (OHM)

I more and more think that one of the biggest crypto opportunity is a true decentralized crypto native reserve currency.

An country-independent reserve currency with its own monetary policy. Not tied directly to any central bank and economic policy and state.

If the USD continue its decline, given the current political crisis and the sovereign debt issue, there is a real potential scenario where it stops being the world reserve currency.

It could happen faster than people think if a bank-run country wise dynamic arises, where country keep deallocating to USD. Self-reinforcing loop.

@OlympusDAO actually offers the perfect substrate to bootstrap this. It simply need to shift its focus from $OHM has a non possible up only asset, toward building it as a true réserve currency.

For this it needs to :

- steadily sunset cooler loans, allocate those reserve into yield source.
- diversify reserve backing into various protocol/yield source and currencies (USD, EUR, YEN, etc)
- decouple governance and equity like price appreciation expectation from $OHM toward a new, separate token.
- Use that new token as pertinent incentives to grow usage and liquidity of $OHM as a reserve currency and savings destination.
