Funny, even top Wall Street market makers have a little group to pull a fast one?

In the Terraform Labs ($LUNA incident) bankruptcy case, a recently unsealed court document accuses top Wall Street quantitative market maker Jane Street (which manages hundreds of billions of dollars in assets and is where SBF started).

Allegations:
Jane Street employees participated in a private Telegram channel called "Bryce's Secret," which was created by a former Terraform Labs intern, and obtained insider information in advance.

Timeline:
Jane Street learned about the UST issue in advance through the TG group;
Sold UST / shorted;
UST de-pegged → Luna went to zero → market crash;
Retail investors suffered huge losses, while Jane Street made huge profits.

According to Bloomberg, Galaxy Digital founder Michael Novogratz and BitGo CEO Mike Belshe this week appeared before a Delaware court for a trial concerning their failed $1.2 billion 2021 merger. BitGo is demanding that Galaxy pay a termination fee of at least $100 million, alleging that Galaxy did not make reasonable efforts to complete the transaction and concealed a regulatory investigation related to Luna; Galaxy asserts that the investigation has not affected the SEC approval process and that BitGo failed to provide the required audited financial statements in a timely manner, thus has no right to claim the termination fee. The deal originally aimed to list the combined company on Nasdaq, but subsequently encountered changes in SEC accounting guidance and a market liquidity crisis triggered by the Terra/Luna collapse. https://t.co/Oag3FoQxAF
