LEASH launched as the scarce "Doge Killer" in the Shiba Inu ecosystem with a proudly fixed supply of ~107,647 tokens.
That promise was shattered on August 11, 2025, when a hidden rebase flaw (still active despite renounced ownership) let an unknown actor increase the supply by ~10%. The v1 token has traded with the inflated supply ever since, now reflected as approximately 5.6 QUADRILLION on major trackers like CoinMarketCap.
In response, the team proposed LEASH v2: a clean, audited (by Hexens), non-mintable contract with a proper migration plan.
On September 9, 2025, Kaal Dhairya posted the “final pre-launch update,” saying they’d “go live in a few days” with phased rollout for holders, LPs, and stakers.
And then… nothing.
As of today (May 5, 2026), that’s **267 days since the rebase attack** and **238 days since the “few days” promise**.
No portal, no new contract, no follow-up blog post, no migration... just prolonged silence while the original v
