Paying your users in a token that got rug pulled is actually insane.

I don’t like when neobanks pay users cashback in their own native token because, for one, the token is genuinely worthless in situations like this.

And another thing is that when you pay users in your native token, you are basically giving them all the risk while taking none of it yourself.

The company still gets to build the product, grow the business, and potentially get acquired, and meanwhile, you are stuck holding the bag unless you don't sell weekly smh.

Tbh, I think the easier thing to do is just pay users in USDC or WETH like @ether_fi cause at least then it's real cashback.

That said, it’s no wonder the token was not included in the deal, lmao.

Now the devs have somewhere to skedaddle while @NiumGlobal helps them fix this.

Nium is a cross-border payment infrastructure provider, developing Digital Asset Payments that connect the fiat world and Onchain.

However, current Cypher version users must manage their assets as required.

1️⃣ July 15, 2026: End of $CYPR Rewards and Incentives accumulation

2️⃣ August 7, 2026: Last day to use 🐶 Cypher Card for purchases

3️⃣ September 6, 2026: The original app and platform shut down, terminating the CYPR Protocol and $CYPR token ecosystem

🚨 Cypher shut down the system, what will happen to the $CYPR that is still locked?

@Cypher_HQ_ indicated that after being acquired by Nium, the team had considered letting the Protocol and CYPR Token continue independently, but the deal structure was unfavorable, so the CYPR Ecosystem had to be terminated and the original Protocol closed.

🔒 For locked $CYPR, the lock period remains as defined by the original Smart Contract; the acquisition does not accelerate unlocking!!
