In particular, this tokenized Pre-IPO is essentially a price‑tracking tool; it cannot be settled, nor can it confer any rights, and its liquidity operates independently.

and everyone could happily speculate in advance.
Then Anthropic and OpenAI both issued statements:
"Any stock transfer not approved by the board of directors is null and void."
This includes SPVs, tokens, forward contracts, etc.
Spot markets for $ANTHROPIC, $OPENAI, $SPACEX and the like all plunged near 40%.
Interestingly,
for example OKX’s pure contract products (bidirectional betting) fell relatively less,
perhaps because they don’t actually hold real stocks, they just bet on the price.
