Role Overview

We are seeking a senior leader with a strong hybrid background in traditional finance and crypto assets to take full ownership of the platform’s spot business. This role is responsible for asset onboarding, liquidity development, institutional partnerships, asset operations, trading tools, and market information systems.

This position is directly accountable for the company’s core business metrics and serves as a key bridge between traditional financial assets (such as equities, bonds, and RWAs) and on-chain trading systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Asset & Product Strategy

• Define and execute the overall spot business strategy, with a focus on:

  • Onboarding tokenized or mapped on-chain representations of traditional financial assets (stocks, ETFs, funds, commodities), and solving associated liquidity challenges

  • Mainstream and innovative crypto assets

• Design asset listing standards, structural frameworks, compliance pathways, and lifecycle management strategies.

2. Liquidity & Market Development

• Take full ownership of spot market liquidity strategy and execution, including:

  • Market maker framework design, onboarding, and management

  • Institutional liquidity sourcing (brokerages, market makers, hedge funds, quantitative trading teams, etc.)

  • Optimization of key metrics such as market depth, spreads, and fill rates

• Build a multi-layered liquidity structure to enhance overall trading experience and market competitiveness.

3. Institutional & Ecosystem Partnerships

• Lead partnerships with:

  • Traditional financial institutions (brokerages, asset managers, banks, custodians)

  • RWA issuers, SPVs, and asset managers

  • Professional market makers and quantitative institutions

• Drive end-to-end coordination across asset issuance, custody, settlement, and trading.

4. Asset Operations & Trading Tools

• Build a comprehensive asset operations framework, including:

  • Asset performance monitoring and liquidity health management

  • Trading behavior analysis and user segmentation

• Plan and advance spot-related trading tools, including:

  • Professional trading features (APIs, quantitative interfaces, institution-grade tools)

  • Advanced order types and liquidity incentive mechanisms

5. Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Build and manage the spot asset and liquidity team (product, operations, institutional BD, etc.).

• Work closely with compliance, engineering, risk, and marketing teams to ensure stable and compliant business execution.

 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance or digital assets, with at least 3 years in a core business leadership or team lead role

• Deep understanding of spot trading, liquidity mechanisms, and market-making models

• Strong knowledge of crypto market structures, combined with a genuine understanding of traditional financial asset operations

• Professional-level English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing

Key Competencies

• Institutional mindset: Strong understanding of institutional trading needs, risk models, compliance, and custody requirements

• Asset structuring capability: Ability to understand and design on-chain or mapped structures for RWAs and equity-like assets

• Results-oriented: Ownership of core metrics such as trading volume, liquidity, and asset scale

• Cross-domain execution: Ability to translate and operationalize solutions across TradFi and Crypto

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in one or more of the following is a strong plus:

  • Core roles at securities firms, asset managers, investment banks, or market-making institutions

  • Head of Spot, Institutional, or Liquidity roles at digital asset exchanges

  • Experience with RWA, STO, or tokenized securities projects

• Global perspective with experience across Asian and Western markets preferred

• Reports directly to senior executive leadership (CEO / President / Partner level).
