    We must be thankful to @HyperliquidX for rewriting the value-capture model in crypto. Old stack: - Exchange takes trading fees - Stablecoin issuer takes reserve yield - Listings are gatekept - Token holders are downstream Hyperliquid stack: - Own L1 - Validators curate the quote asset - Issuer shares 90% of yield - Anyone deploys a market - Every trade flows towards $HYPE buybacks This is another reason why the CEX vs DEX framing keeps missing what's actually happening. It also has $8.8B in OI, which is bigger than OKX, which does 3x the volume. h/t to @DefiLlama for the data
