    I used to think the people who dismissed Bitcoin were smarter than me. They had credentials. Track records. Platforms. They spoke with confidence I didn’t have yet. So I waited. Kept researching. Kept asking questions. And slowly I realised: confidence isn’t the same as correctness. A lot of very credentialed people (cough Peter Schiff cough Dave Ramsey cough) were making arguments that didn’t actually hold up, they just delivered them like they did. Trust the reasoning. Not the authority delivering it. That lesson cost me time. I hope it saves you some.

    I can humble acknowledge that this Bitcoin price action hasn’t suited me as well as usual. I did well patiently waiting for price to reach one of the range extremes, but this time, at range highs - where I usually perform best - I ended up mixing a few signals that prevented me from trading it with my usual confidence. However, as an experienced trader, I recognized this early enough and shifted my focus mainly toward Gold and Oil this month (50% Gold – 40% CL – 10% BTC). Interestingly enough, I still managed to maintain a 100% win rate this month, and it ended up being the best performing 30-day period of the year for the investors' copytrading portfolio with +10% up.

    UK crypto custodian Copper is seeking a sale at an estimated valuation of about $500 million, with Cantor Fitzgerald hired to assist in the transaction. The report says Copper's core asset is its in-custody settlement system ClearLoop, which allows institutions to complete in-custody DvP (delivery versus payment) settlements without moving assets onto the chain, thereby reducing settlement risk. Copper shut down its enterprise custody business in 2023 and shifted focus to ClearLoop. Copper had previously considered an IPO, but with Bitcoin trading below $80,000 and the AI sector attracting large amounts of capital, the crypto IPO market has been generally subdued.
