    How is it possible to still call Algorand "centralized" when it's arguably the chain that has made the most progress in this area over the past few years? @Justin_Bons, as someone who stands up for decentralization, you should rather support $ALGO! 🫡 Please give me one other chain where an average user can run a validator node and directly influence the consensus of a $1B+ network with a standard computer and a minimum stake worth $0.01. $ALGO today has 1,600+ independent validators across 82 countries, 80%+ community stake, billions of transactions processed, zero downtime in 6 years, and arguably one of the most elegant consensus mechanisms ever designed! If you want to reach the highest level of decentralization, enabling individual participation in consensus is definitely the key, and $ALGO is one of the very few chains that actually makes this possible! Quite the opposite of Solana tbh (which you now support so strongly), as its hardware requirements are insane and leave normal users completely out, mainly because the ledger grows exponentially due to a massive amount of useless txns caused by poor design. As proof, in just a few months, $SOL went from 1.5k+ validators to under 800, and this number will only continue to drop, further centralizing the network into the hands of the wealthiest validators. Is that really the decentralization you're advocating for? 🤔 Relay nodes, even though they don't participate in consensus, used to be whitelisted by AF and were a legitimate criticism of Algorand's decentralization, since all data had to pass through them, I agree. But that's NO longer the case with full P2P now enabled, where validators are free to choose whether they want to rely ONLY on permissionless relays or use a hybrid setup with the previous relays, which are now completely optional. So in no way is Algorand still "centralized". This is a massive step for $ALGO, and you should give it credit!

    2/4 Why This Matters Quantum computers will break RSA and elliptic-curve cryptography, the foundation of virtually every blockchain. Ethereum's Vitalik Buterin cited forecasts suggesting a 20% probability of cryptographically relevant quantum computers before 2030. Meanwhile, adversaries are already executing "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks, downloading blockchains today to decrypt when quantum machines arrive. While competitors like QRL have working quantum-resistant blockchains, none have achieved post-quantum transaction capability on an established, widely-used Layer 1 network. QRL exists, but operates at a much smaller scale. Abelian is still developing. BTQ announced quantum-safe Bitcoin plans for 2026. Meanwhile, Algorand executed a live post-quantum transaction on an operational, production mainnet with millions in transaction volume.

    3/4 Algorand's Positioning Algorand selected Falcon, a lattice-based signature scheme standardized by NIST in 2022. State Proofs now provide quantum-secure attestations every 256 rounds. The team then released the Falcon Signatures CLI, giving developers working tools to create quantum-resistant accounts and execute transactions today.
