It's a strategic test of the protocol itself.

↴ Short-term: A Pre-TGE liquidity bootstrap

There is no denying the incentives are doing their job.

Most users are depositing because of the XP multiplier, Coinshift points, and expectations around the upcoming $TMX TGE.

At this stage, TVL primarily reflects the campaign's ability to attract speculative capital, not necessarily long-term product-market fit.

↴ Long-term: Testing the liquidity primitive

TermMax's long-term vision is fixed-rate borrowing and lending.

The RLUSD Vault acts as the entry point to that ecosystem, encouraging users to deposit for rewards first, then gradually introducing them to fixed-term lending markets.

The real question isn't how much TVL arrives, it's how much stays.

After July 15, these are the metrics I'll be watching:

▸ Retention: How much liquidity remains once the incentive programs slow down?

▸ Capital migration: Does liquidity flow from the RLUSD Vault into other lending and borrowing markets within the ecosystem?

▸ User quality: How many short-term farmers become long-term users of TermMax's fixed-rate financial products?

The RLUSD Vault is an important step in bootstrapping liquidity.

But in DeFi, the real alpha isn't the TVL you attract during incentives, it's the liquidity that remains after the incentives disappear.
