🧠 This wasn’t one attack… it was a STACK 🧠
“social engineering… oracle manipulation… market manipulation… all the tools in the toolbox”
Feels like Mango Markets all over again.
But more coordinated. More patient. More surgical.
This is DeFi adversarial evolution in real time.

Feels like we learned nothing from Mango Markets considering Drift got exploited in nearly the exact same way except for one additional step which was that the exploiter got admin key access and then enabled an artificially pumped shitter to be used as collateral. 🫠
He stole $110 million from a crypto protocol, announced it himself on Twitter, negotiated to keep $47 million of it, and then watched a jury convict him on every count.
> His name is Avraham Eisenberg.
> He deposited $5 million into Mango Markets across two anonymous wallets.
> He bought and sold the same contract between his own accounts pumping the price 1,300% in 20 minutes.
> The platform's code saw the fake price as real collateral.
> He borrowed $110 million against it and walked out.
> Hours later he tweeted from his real account calling it "a highly profitable trading strategy."
> He submitted a proposal to the platform's DAO to return $67 million and keep $47 million as a settlement.
> The DAO rejected it. He kept the money anyway.
> The FBI found his Google search history, he was searching "statute of limitations market manipulation."
> A jury convicted him on all counts in April 2024.
> Then a federal judge threw out every conviction.
> The ruling: the platform had no rules against what he did and the case was filed in the wrong court.
> The $110 million charge was gone.
> But when the FBI raided his apartment during the original arrest they found something else on his devices.
> He pleaded guilty to possession of child sexual abuse material.
> He is serving 4 years for that.
He beat the biggest crypto fraud conviction in history on a technicality. He is in prison anyway. For something the FBI found while they were looking for the money.
