Few people remember this, but @Polymarket launched back in 2020. And for the first 3 years… almost nothing happened. Average daily volume was around ~$100k. TVL mostly moved between $ 3-8M. Imagine sitting through 3 years of that kind of stagnation.. Then the 2024 US elections happened. Everyone suddenly realized prediction markets are a huge deal.
