$XRP ... The Chicken or the Egg? If institutions need a deep, valuable and highly liquid $XRP market before deploying capital at scale... Who creates that market in the first place? One thing I keep coming back to... When $XRP becomes the bridge asset for institutional cross-border payments, doesn't its market eventually need to become far deeper, more valuable and more stable than it is today? Not because a higher price is the goal. Because deeper liquidity creates greater capital efficiency. If you're moving billions, or trillions of dollars around the world, it's far more efficient to settle through a market with enormous depth and minimal slippage than one that's still relatively small. As the value represented by each unit increases alongside liquidity, that efficiency can improve even further. So here's the conundrum... If institutions ultimately want an institution‑grade market... ...and we're not there yet... Who bridges that gap? Banks rarely arrive first. They typically follow mature infrastructure, regulatory clarity and proven liquidity. Markets don't wait for everyone to agree. They price tomorrow's expectations before tomorrow arrives. My view is that this transition is built over time by early believers, long‑term holders, market makers, payment providers, growing utility and, eventually, institutional participation. As real world demand for liquidity expands, markets do what they've always done... they discover price. Everyone asks: "Will banks use $XRP?" I'm asking a different question. What does the journey look like from today's market to one capable of supporting trillions of dollars in global value transfer? I don't pretend to know every step along that path. But if $XRP truly becomes part of the future of global finance, today's market will simply be one chapter in a much bigger story. History isn't written by those who stay comfortably inside the mainstream narrative. It's written by those willing to see tomorrow before everyone else does. ⚜️
