    Today is a big day for @SeiNetwork! Sei is working with Xiaomi, the world’s 3rd biggest phone maker. This means a new Sei Mobile App will come pre-installed on every new Xiaomi phone. That is 170M+ phones every year. No download or setup needed. The app lets people send and use stablecoins fast, like Apple Pay but onchain. Xiaomi has 680M users and 20,000 stores, so this is real-world use. This is the biggest “put crypto inside the phone” moment ever. Bigger than any wallet. Bigger than any airdrop. People will open their new phone… and Sei App is already there. Some people call it “the WeChat of crypto.” I just think it’s the first time crypto feels normal for regular people.     Is @SeiNetwork x Xiaomi the largest hardware distribution in crypto history❓ > Samsung once integrated Blockchain Keystore into the Galaxy S10. It was the first time a crypto wallet was baked directly into a flagship device, and the S10 shipped nearly 40 million units in its first year.     If you want to understand why the @SeiNetwork x @Xiaomi deal matters, just zoom out on the user and payments math. 🔷 Xiaomi at a glance ➤ 3rd largest smartphone maker, ~13.8% global share ➤ ~740M MAU, ~168M phones sold in 2024 across 100+ markets ➤ 20K+ retail stores as physical distribution for whatever rails live on those devices ➤ 2024 revenue around ~$50.5B 🔷 Sei user projection with Xiaomi ➤ Sei sits around ~80M wallets today with ~500–800k MAU ➤ At 10% Xiaomi adoption, you are looking at ~74M new users, basically another Sei in size ➤ At 20–30% adoption, that jumps to roughly 148M–222M new MAU over the 2026 window 🔷 Stablecoin flow if this works ➤ If just 10% of Xiaomi’s ~$50.5B rev clears in stablecoins running on Sei, that is ~$5B/year of real world payment volume through Sei rails If even the conservative case lands, Sei becomes the largest mainstream onchain rail by user count and real payment vol, not just another performant trading chain.     To me, the moment that @SeiNetwork lands on every newly released smartphone from Xiaomi feels just like the first time Netflix shows up as the default app on smartphones. Why? Sei may learn a lot from this strategic move: + Netflix currently appears on smartphones from brands like Samsung, Xiaomi/Redmi, Vivo, Oppo, etc. + Preinstalled Netflix is gradually becoming a standard feature on new devices, even if users don't use it. ➜ Being preinstalled on smartphones is the shortest and most effective way to reach users. Applying this to Sei, this could be the first step to access web2 users from both financial and non-financial perspectives. The strategy is clear: Introducing Sei app ➜ outstanding features ➜ daily use ➜ paid features.
