This is not right and unironically will lead to even more Kaspa stagnation, as @cryptok777 gave for the reason he’s shutting it down, if a staple block explorer and wallet look up site is shut down. Instead of giving up, hand over the reins to the community. Tell us the exact monthly cost and we will pay it. @KaspaSilver has a discord fund where they vote on initiatives to fund within the community and I’m sure this would be one they would help, and I wouldn’t mind donating $10 monthly if there was a serious effort to keep this alive and managed. And I’m sure hundreds or thousands of others would too. $kas

I get your point but we’re talking about two totally different things. You’re explaining why developers need L2 services. I’m explaining what normal users actually feel when using them. And the truth: Most users don’t care about rollups, proofs, sequencers, or archival networks. They care about one thing: “Does this feel simple and native, or does it feel like extra steps?” If it feels like bridging… If it feels like wrapping… If it feels like leaving the network… Users check out, not because the tech is bad, but because the UX feels complicated. So yes, rollup platforms can make life easier for developers. But for users, the only thing that matters is: “Do I need to bridge my KAS or not?” If the answer is yes, adoption drops. If the answer is no, or if the bridging is so perfectly hidden that they never notice then users are happy. That’s all I’m saying. You’re talking infrastructure. I’m talking user experience. Both are valid just different viewpoints.
