    UPDATE: Charles Hoskinson says "I can already see the future. With Midnight, we got lattice-based crypto, and (Ethereum's) doing hash-based crypto. They'll discover 3 years from now, "we need to move to lattices." They'll use our ideas, libraries, but say nothing about Cardano."

    #Midnight Foundation has reopened the Glacier Drop redemption portal after completing a security review caused by an incident involving a subset of #Cardano wallets connected to SecondFi. In a recent update, the Foundation confirmed that Glacier Drop redemptions resumed on July 9 at 17:00 UTC. This ended a temporary suspension introduced as a precautionary measure last month. The Foundation paused NIGHT token redemptions last month after reports emerged that EMURGO’s SecondFi platform had suffered a security breach. During the attack, hackers stole 16 million $ADA from 374 wallets, prompting the Foundation to temporarily close the Glacier Drop redemption portal while it investigated whether the incident posed any risk to Glacier Drop participants. https://t.co/dyOqMdv6b3

    Is Charles Hoskinson leaving Cardano? Well, not really. He firmly denied the rumors, calling them a “complete fabrication.” Hoskinson blamed out-of-context clips and reaction videos that falsely claimed he said Cardano is a failing project. cardano:native hasn’t fully recovered from the recent governance mess, but Cardano did see a solid surge in wallet growth this month.     I already talked about @realfi_co’s 2-token structure. Now, with the Cardano testnet release, you can also see the reserves dashboard and exactly what’s backing USDr (the RWA composition). The current mix they’ve targeted: • 40% private credit • 25% bonds • 22.5% treasuries • 12.5% CLOs It’s a very high level of transparency. You can see exactly where the return comes from and the strategy behind it. Reminder: the first season (Pioneer) has just kicked off; this is as early as it gets. I’ll be diving more deeply into the project’s fundamentals soon, so keep an eye out.
