    🚨 USE Hedera! Problem Solved! Drift (a Solana perp DEX) just lost ~$200M–$270M from its Vault. ⚠️ Cause — Oracle Manipulation The attacker used a flash loan to artificially pump token prices in a low-liquidity pool. Drift’s smart contract trusted this manipulated oracle price. Result: • Overvalued collateral • Massive fund drain from the Vault → A classic DeFi attack pattern Price feeds can be manipulated within a single transaction. 🛡️ Why this is difficult on Hedera Hedera’s design makes this attack vector much harder: • aBFT consensus (no leader, fair timestamps) • Strong recommendation of on-chain TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) • Flash-loan price spikes are smoothed out • Chainlink + additional sanity checks 🌐 Bottom line The same oracle manipulation attacks repeatedly seen on Solana are structurally mitigated on Hedera.
