    The Uniswap fee switch creates a death spiral. When the fee switch vote passed with 100% approval, I thought it was a shot in the foot. The data proves it. TVL dropped from $4 billion to $3 billion since activation. Volume and market share have been bleeding for a while now. The mechanics are brutal: > Fee switch adds extra charge to swaps > Swaps stop routing through Uniswap pools > Liquidity providers earn less > They pull liquidity > Swaps become less efficient > Even fewer transactions route through the protocol The flywheel spins in reverse. What did $UNI holders get in return? > 20 million UNI tokens paid to the team > 4.4 million UNI burned annually at current rates > Net flow of -15.6 million UNI per year Even if @Uniswap activates the fee switch across all L2s, UNI won't be deflationary. Volume would need to 5x from here. I don't see how that happens when the protocol is structurally pushing users away. Other protocols built this smarter from day one. They aligned incentives instead of extrac
