Pi Network (PI)

I think I might be one of the few people in the Pi community who has been talking about this for years, but I'd still like to share my thoughts. I fully support the direction the core team is taking with Pi's utility. Building real utility takes time. It's a complex process with many moving parts, and it's also a bit of a long-term bet. Because of that, I don't expect an immediate market reaction. Even if new utilities are launched, I don't think they'll have much impact on Pi's price during a bear market. What concerns me more is that since the new white paper and the launch of the open network, the core team hasn't really discussed the tokenomics. To be fair, Pi started with a maximum supply of 100 B because the vision was to support massive adoption and real-world utility. But if we look at the industry, things have changed. Back in 2019, Stellar reduced its maximum supply from 100 B by burning 50% of the tokens. Cardano has 45 B, Worldcoin has 10 B, and even projects focused on UBI or broad global distribution are generally moving toward supplies below 50 B to balance accessibility with scarcity. Pi, however, is still sticking with a 100 B maximum supply. The challenge is that in the early stages, the utility and ecosystem are still being built. That means a large number of tokens may enter the market before demand is strong enough to absorb them. I think it's important for the core team to gradually introduce at least a few solutions that can create a deflationary effect over time. For example, they could announce that part or all of the 0.01 Pi transaction fee will be burned, or explore other ways to introduce token burns where it makes sense. @nkokkalis @PiCoreTeam #pi #pinetwork #파이 #파이코인

I agree with about 90% of what he is saying. If I could add my own thoughts... In a market like this, I don't think utility alone can protect a pi price. Almost every project is announcing new utilities, yet most of them are still going down. The reason is simple..money is flowing out of the crypto market, so prices keep falling. To be honest, it takes something stronger to better defend against a bear market. Now look at Aster or other cryptos.. even when they announce token burns or buybacks, burn the fees, their prices usually don't go up right away. At best, those measures just help reduce the size of the drop. However imo the core team should start thinking about deflationary solutions related to token circulation, lockups, transaction fees, the foundation's allocation, and the Ct's token allocation. These things probably won't send the price higher during a bear market, but they might help protect it to some extent. #pi #picoin #파이 #파이코인
