Mitosis (MITO)

As with most tokens, @mitosis's $MITO could not avoid a drop after listing. It briefly hit an ATH of 0.36, and now trades around 0.084. Up until about October 25 it still held an average around $0.15‑0.2, but it has since fallen to roughly 0.08 and is maintaining that price level. In fact, for Mitosis I received the airdrop and did not sell any tokens, staking them all, and later added some funds to increase the amount to around $0.25 before staking again. Rather than other reasons, I entered the ecosystem after watching an interview with the founders at the time, feeling the need for cross‑exchange infrastructure, which also generated some optimism. In fact, I received a decent allocation through Yaping, and the additional airdrop from Season 2 was partially liquidated, while the remainder was fully reinvested into the DeFi ecosystem. Previously I engaged in dual mining via @Theo_Network or @multiplifi's Yarm, but most of those have ended, and now I am optimizing solely with $MITO. My play involves buying three Morse NFTs that have fallen to about 0.08 ETH each, snagging them at the bottom in the market, and staking them on the Morse page. I then moved all my staked tMito to a Morse validator. This allows me to earn additional interest via Morse Staking. However, since this is just starting, the efficiency needs to be evaluated; the Morse validator is nearly full, resulting in a roughly 3% lower rate compared to other validators. Additionally, the weekly staking rewards received in gMito are converted back to Mito and then swapped to tMito. Because the market trend is to convert most tMito back to Mito, this swap yields roughly 2.7 × tMito. Using that, I restake at an approximately 7% yield, which translates to an effective annual return of about 19%. When tMito fully ends and converts to Mito around mid‑March next year, the amount of tMito I hold will be taken as Mito, creating a scenario where I can sell after the unlock. We’ll have to see whether the price will still be 0.08 then, or if the Mitosis foundation pivots its direction and more proactively builds the ecosystem, leading to some recovery. In any case, I hope to collaborate with new projects to generate better APR opportunities.

Telo money and Chromo Exchange recently announced that they will be shutting down their services on Mitosis Ecosystem. However, there is an announcement that Nautilus SuperApp is going live soon. Also, $MITO is still holding up

The website will close by the end of the year. For those holding tMITO, the 180‑day conversion period to MITO ends around early September.
