road to (hopefully) $30m | q2 review: me vs. the plan every month i recap what happened. this is a different post. four times a year at quarter end i want to zoom all the way out and ask one question: how am i doing against the plan i started with? this is the first one. for those who are new: i'm documenting a real portfolio in public. started april 1 with $5m. every position, every mistake, receipts on all of it. the monthly recaps in my pinned have the play by play. the plan, written before any of this started, was one sentence: buy spot crypto in the bear at entries i believe in, do nothing for one to three years until there's euphoria somewhere in the market, then sell. that's it. that's the whole strategy. so, how's it going against that? the numbers: started the quarter at $5m. ended at $8.1m. $1m of that was fresh capital i deposited, so the honest number is $7.1m. up ~40% in a quarter where btc and most every crypto went down. pretty nice start all things considered. but the overwhelming maj
