still can't figure why layerzero had to treat their fault issue this way.... when you're caught, just own it. that's it. instead, bryan came out and told everyone the multisig signer was simply "testing the PEPE OFT integration," routine stuff, move along. except the chain is public and anyone with two minutes can go verify what actually happened. layerzero's own blog confirmed it less than 24 hours later. their employee was trading a memecoin called McPepes using the exact same multisig responsible for securing billions in OFT value. you cannot lie to a blockchain. the actual timeline is what gets me: march 2023, 0xf1f5E swaps 0.198548 ETH for 1,727,120 McPepes on uniswap. december 2023, same address calls approve on the McPepes contract. april 2024, they try to sell and the transaction reverts. january 2025, nearly two years later, the signer finally gets rotated off. and this wasn't one person having a bad day. three separate signing addresses on that 2-of-5 gnosis safe were doing personal onchain act
