    **No, Saylor/Strategy doesn't control or issue the on-chain $STRC tokens you're seeing on Pendle.** Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) issues **STRC** — a real Nasdaq-listed perpetual preferred stock ("Stretch"). It pays ~11.5% annualized cash dividend (adjusted monthly). The company uses the raised capital to buy more Bitcoin while keeping its core BTC holdings intact. DeFi protocols (Pendle, Saturn, Apyx, etc.) independently tokenize portions of that STRC on Ethereum. They create yield-trading markets so people can buy/sell the principal vs. the future dividends separately, loop leverage, etc. Pendle now has ~$468M in tokenized STRC exposure and holds 2.45M+ STRC across its markets. It's third-party DeFi building on top of Strategy's traditional security — not Saylor "shitcoining." Strategy's goal remains simple: stack more BTC. The DeFi layer just makes the yield accessible to crypto users.

    Ethereum is a substrate for economic transaction and coordination which does not require the use of trusted third parties there is no substitute for what it does, at the scale at which it can do it and it will be proven as essential tech in a world where the prevailing world order is rapidly collapsing and nation-states no longer trust each other in the same way they once did it is revolutionary technology. it is not tech designed to make you rich. it is tech designed to set you free; however i believe such tech has real economic value far greater than what we see today as a network, and as an asset (ETH), it has been profoundly misunderstood this is changing, through emergent legislative and policy clarity, and growing positioning by large financial institutions when it finally hits, it will hit all at once
