To comply with global regulatory requirements and better protect user assets and account security, BitMart will conduct a upgrade for the Virtual Crypto Prepaid Card. After the upgrade, all new card applications will require KYC verification.
This adjustment only affects Virtual Crypto Prepaid Cards. Physical cards will not be impacted, You may directly apply for a physical card for use.
The arrangements for the termination of existing virtual cards and subsequent services are as follows:
- Card issuance and top-ups will be suspended starting May 18, 2026.
- All existing Virtual Crypto Prepaid Cards will be terminated on May 19, 2026 and will no longer support transactions, top-ups, or refunds.
- Please use your remaining balance as soon as possible. Any unused balance will be refunded to your BitMart spot account by May 22, 2026.
- Services are expected to resume on May 20, 2026 after the upgrade.

Fee subsidy: Users who apply for a new card before June 30 will receive a full rebate on the card application fee.
