A prepaid card is a convenient payment tool that allows you to top up USDT from your wallet and spend in local currency anytime, anywhere. The prepaid card is for spending only — it does not support receiving payments or transfers.
Currently, USDT deposits are supported via five chains: ETH, BNB Chain, Solana, Arbitrum, and Base.
Virtual Card: For online payments, available immediately after issuance (The balance cannot be withdrawn or converted back to crypto — it is for spending only)

8. How long does a refund take to appear on the card?

Once the merchant confirms the refund, it generally takes 3–7 business days to appear on the card balance.
For cross-border transactions (e.g., foreign currency or international merchants), refunds may take longer. If the refund has not arrived after an extended period, please contact our online customer support.

9. How do I link WeChat Pay / Alipay / Apple Pay / Google Pay?

  1. Complete KYC verification
  2. Top up crypto and create your card (Virtual Card is issued automatically upon successful top-up; Physical Card requires activation)
  3. Open the relevant payment platform, go to the "Bank Card" section, and enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV
  4. Select this card when making a payment
Note: Some users may encounter risk control restrictions due to device, IP, or transaction behaviour, preventing card linking. If this happens, it is recommended to unlink the card, wait a few days, and try again — or apply for a new card and re-link.

10. What should I do if the WeChat Pay / Alipay card linking or payment fails?

Common causes and solutions:
  • Network Error: Usually caused by frequent network switching (e.g., using a proxy), triggering a temporary WeChat restriction. This typically resolves on its own within a few days. It is recommended to keep proxy environments separate from domestic apps.
  • Card Linking Failure: Check that the card number, expiry date, and CVV are entered correctly. Alipay supports a maximum of 5 foreign currency cards — try unlinking unused cards and retry.
  • International Bank Cards Not Supported: This indicates your WeChat / Alipay account has been restricted due to a policy violation. This is not a prepaid card issue — please follow the platform's instructions to resolve the restriction.
  • Payment Failure: Ensure the card balance exceeds the payment amount. Try unlinking and re-linking the card.
  • Payment Limits: Alipay and WeChat Pay currently apply a single transaction limit of $1,000 USD and an annual limit of $50,000 USD for foreign cards. Dynamic limits may apply — if exceeded, try the next day again or reduce the transaction amount. (Limits are subject to change; refer to actual WeChat / Alipay prompts for the latest information.)

Important Card Usage Notice & Risk Disclosure

  1. Declined Transactions & Card Cancellation Risk
    1. Five or more consecutive declined transactions may trigger bank risk controls, resulting in immediate card cancellation. Once cancelled, the card cannot be used or receive refunds.
    2. Never share your card details (card number, cardholder name, expiry date, CVV, etc.) with anyone or allow others to use your card. Doing so may result in asset loss and high chargeback fees.
    3. Declined transactions due to card suspension or freezing will also incur chargeback fees. Please cancel any unwanted subscriptions promptly.
    4. Cards frozen for more than 30 days will be automatically deleted by the system.
  2. Negative Balance Policy
    1. If the card balance is insufficient to cover a charge or fee, the balance will go negative. Failure to replenish the balance for an extended period may trigger risk controls and result in card cancellation.
  3. Spending Balance Recommendations (Chargeback Prevention)
    1. Ensure the card balance exceeds your expected spending amount by 3%–5%.
    2. After spending, it is recommended to maintain a balance of at least $0.50–$1.00 to avoid transaction fee deductions failing due to a fully depleted balance.
  4. Third-Party Platform Fees
    1. When spending over 200 RMB via WeChat Pay or Alipay, the platform will charge an additional 3% foreign card handling fee. This fee is collected by WeChat / Alipay and is not charged by BitMart Wallet.
