1. Transfers FAQ (Deposits & Withdrawals)
1.1 Are there Gas fees for transfers between CEX and DEX?
Yes. Transfers between the CEX and DEX are on-chain transactions, which require on-chain broadcasting, confirmation, and packaging. Users must pay the corresponding Gas fees, which may vary based on blockchain congestion and market conditions.
1.2 Are there transfer limits between CEX and DEX?
There are no limits for transferring funds between CEX and DEX. However, when withdrawing from CEX to DEX, you must meet BitMart CEX’s minimum withdrawal limit.
1.3 Why are the on-chain assets and DEX account balances inconsistent?
This could be due to:
- Small asset amounts (< 0.01 USDT) are hidden in the system and do not affect your actual balance.
- Some tokens may lack complete deposit records due to on-chain parsing limitations, but your actual balance and trading ability are unaffected. Please refer to the available balance on the trading page.
1.4 What if I deposit unsupported tokens from external sources?
Currently, unsupported tokens cannot be credited or returned. To avoid asset loss, please only deposit mainnet tokens supported by DEX.
2. Trading FAQ
2.1 Why is the price different for the same token on Spot and DEX?
Spot and DEX use different market data. Spot prices reflect user orders on the exchange, while DEX prices are based on on-chain liquidity pools. This may result in price differences, especially during high volatility or low liquidity.
2.2 Why did my order fail?
Common reasons for order failure include:
- Honeypot tokens: A warning has been added for Honeypot tokens on the page. Please trade with caution.
- Insufficient liquidity: Pool withdrawals or other actions may cause a lack of liquidity, preventing the trade from being executed.
- Insufficient gas fees: Ensure your wallet has enough mainnet tokens (such as SOL) to cover the transaction fees.
2.3 Why did my order fail even when my mainnet token balance was close to the estimated fee?
We recommend transferring extra mainnet tokens to your DEX address for gas fees. Possible reasons for failure despite a close balance:
- Blockchain congestion: Fees may rise during peak network activity due to competition for processing speed.
- Gas price volatility: Gas fees for blockchains like Ethereum and BNB Chain can fluctuate.
- Complex transactions: Trades involving low liquidity tokens or multiple smart contracts require more computation and higher gas fees.
- Slippage protection mechanism: Some trades may consume additional gas to ensure execution during volatile conditions.
- Multiple interactions: Trades requiring multiple steps (e.g., token approval or liquidity pool interaction) incur additional fees for each step.
2.4 What is the DEX fee rate?
- Transaction fee: 0.45%, settled in real time and deducted from the main chain currency. The fee calculation is: Trade Amount × Fee Rate.
- On-chain fees: A small amount of gas is additionally required, along with potential authorization fees, project buy/sell taxes, or MEV protection costs.
2.5 What fees are generated when trading on DEX?
- Gas fees: Paid to miners/validators for transaction execution on blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, BNB Chain).
- Trading fees: A 0.45% fee per trade, paid in mainnet tokens.
- Anti-front-running fee: A fee to prevent sandwich attacks by bots, which may affect some trade speeds.
- Buy/sell tax: Some projects charge taxes via their contract to maintain liquidity or anti-dumping mechanisms.
- Other on-chain fees: Includes account opening fees, approval fees, etc.
2.6 Why can't I use all my assets to place an order?
A portion of your mainnet tokens is reserved to cover gas fees to ensure successful transactions. You can withdraw all assets except for the reserved fee portion.
2. Other FAQs
3.1 Can I export my DEX account private keys?
Currently, exporting DEX account private keys is not supported. The platform uses a private key custody model to prevent asset loss due to key loss.
3.2 What order types does DEX support?
DEX currently supports the following order types on both the App and Web: Market Order, Quick Buy/Sell, and more advanced order types will be added soon.
