Grid Strategy Parameters

1. Trading Account

  • You can choose between [AI Hub] and [Futures]. It is recommended to use the default [AI Hub] account.
  • When using the [Futures Account], please note that the following situations will cause the creation of a new grid to fail

When using the Futures account, there is already an existing position in the selected trading pair under isolated margin mode.

When using the Futures account, there are pending orders for the selected trading pair with a different leverage than the grid being created.

When using the Futures account, you cannot create a "Neutral" grid strategy under dual-position mode.

When using the AI Hub account, the funds used for grid trading will be transferred to an independent account, completely isolated from other futures positions, making risk management simple. It is recommended for most users.

When using the Futures account, the grid shares margin with all your cross-margin futures positions, and risk exposure is mutually affected. This is suitable for signal providers or other professional users. Please note that after selecting the Futures account, the funds used by the robot will not be included in AI Hub statistics.

2. Grid Direction

  • Options are [Long], [Short], and [Neutral]. Note that the default is [Long].
  • Long Futures Grid: Establishes a long position at market price upon creation and profits by closing the position when the price rises. Suitable for volatile markets with a bullish outlook.
  • Short Futures Grid: Holds a short position and profits by closing the position when the price falls. Suitable for volatile markets with a bearish outlook.
  • Neutral Futures Grid: Holds both long and short positions. Opens short positions when the price is above the reference price and long positions when the price is below the reference price.

Choose the corresponding grid direction based on your market outlook.

3. Price Range

  • Lowest Price in Range: The grid will stop running when the market price falls below this lowest price.
  • Highest Price in Range: The grid will stop running when the market price exceeds this highest price.
  • Auto Fill: Automatically fills in the most suitable lowest and highest prices based on historical prices.

4. Number of Grids

  • The number of grids indicates the number of pending orders divided within the price range.
  • Arithmetic Grid Mode: Keeps the difference between each grid the same (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4). More suitable for coins with small fluctuation ranges and low absolute prices.
  • Geometric Grid Mode: Keeps the ratio between each grid the same (e.g., 1, 2, 4, 8). More suitable for very large ranges (such as $50,000$ to $100,000$ BTC grids) or extremely volatile markets.

5. Investment Amount

  • The amount you wish to invest. The available balance in your spot account is displayed here.
  • Leverage: The leverage used when trading contracts in the strategy. The maximum leverage varies for different coins.
  • Reserved Margin (10%): To prevent forced liquidation due to "high capital utilization," pay trading fees and funding rates, and avoid order failure due to "insufficient available balance," 10% of the investment amount is automatically reserved as margin.

6. Trigger Condition

  • Trigger Price: Set the grid strategy to start when the price reaches the expected value.
  • The trigger price is optional. If not filled, the grid will start at the current market price.

7. Stop Condition - Take Profit Price (Optional)

  • When the price reaches the predefined take profit price, the grid will stop running and close the position with a market order.

8. Stop Condition - Stop Loss Price (Optional)

  • When the price reaches the predefined stop loss price, the grid will stop running and close the position with a market order.

9. Stop Condition - Maximum Drawdown Percentage (Optional)

  • When the account equity falls from its peak by the set percentage, but is still higher than the initial capital, the system will close all positions and stop the grid, locking in the existing profits.

Note: When the grid strategy stops, all positions will be closed (adjustment is not currently supported)
