What Is Multi-Assets Mode?
Multi-Assets Margin Mode on BitMart for crypto futures allows traders to use multiple assets as collateral. This feature is currently available only for USDⓈ-M Futures.
Under Multi-Assets Mode, traders can use various tokens as margin assets for USDⓈ-M Futures. Profits earned from any position can offset losses in another. All profits and losses generated are always trading pair-denominated assets.
However, if the wallet balance of any asset plus its unrealized PnL falls below zero, that asset will generate a liability, and interest will be charged hourly.
Note: Multi-Assets Mode only operates under Cross Margin Mode.
Which Assets Are Supported?
The following assets are supported as margin under Multi-Assets Mode:
You may also click “Collateral Ratio” on the right side of the trading page to view the supported assets.
Important Notes:
- Before using assets in your USDⓈ-M Futures Wallet as collateral , you need to transfer them there.
- In Multi-Assets Mode, assets such as BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP used as collateral may be subject to a valuation haircut of up to 5% based on the Collateral Ratio. For example, BTC worth 1,000 USD will be valued at 950 USD. For BTC holdings exceeding 10 BTC but less than 20 BTC, the portion within that range will be valued at 92.5%, and so on.
How to Switch Between Single-Asset and Multi-Assets Mode?
You can easily switch between Single-Asset Mode and Multi-Assets Mode. However, you must first close all open positions and cancel all pending orders before switching.
Please note:
- Multi-Assets Mode only supports Cross Margin and USDT-Futurures trading pairs.
Steps:
- Log in to your BitMart account and click [Futures]. Then click the [M] or [S] icon in the top-right corner.
- Select [Single-Asset Mode] or [Multi-Assets Mode].
What Is Auto-Exchange?
Auto-Exchange is a forced conversion mechanism triggered when your account margin is insufficient.
Once triggered, all non-USDT assets in your USDⓈ-M Futures account will be automatically converted proportionally at market price through the Auto-Exchange service engine to cover the corresponding negative asset balance.
Although Auto-Exchange does not charge any fees, a haircut rate (also referred to as the collateral rate) of 1% will be applied to the Auto-Exchange assets to mitigate liquidity risks.
