Is the reward for POL staking with @katana real? I have been staking $POL since January. The staked amount is 28,314 POL. I bought it at around $0.16 at that time, → about $4,500, which is roughly 6 million KRW. So far the rewards received are 163 $KAT, about $1.7. Based on this, → APR is about 2–4%. Honestly, this level of return is a bit disappointing to call a “staking reward”. Even compared to simple deposits, $POL staking aimed at airdrops is not very attractive. ---- Weighted stake: 0.0001592% Looking at this figure, the current reward is structurally appropriate. In other words, because my share is very small compared to the total staking pool, a low reward is normal. I should have paid more attention to this, but I overlooked it. Nevertheless, looking at the current situation, even though about $4,500 worth of funds are locked, - actual profit is around $1–2 - liquidity is also restricted - POL price is falling Considering these conditions, the reward is not sufficient relative to the risk. If we consider the same amount at this point, using a stable‑coin‑based DeFi might be a better choice. ---- Since POL staking has been running since last year, entering now as a newcomer, unless you have a substantial amount of capital, it is difficult to expect meaningful returns. Especially if you are considering POL staking while hoping for airdrops from @billions_ntwk, @0xMiden, it would be wise to fully review the current structure and yield before making a decision.
