➥ Why Trump’s @worldlibertyfi picked @Aptos? Most people think this is just another political stunt. I see a very clear signal for where crypto infra is heading. Here’s my take after reading through the data: 1⃣ Aptos is finally proving the payments L1 thesis. We’ve heard the 500ms finality pitch for 2 years, but $USD1 is the first product that actually needs that speed. Sub-$0.0001 fees + 22,000+ TPS is a real stablecoin rail. When @AveryChing said transfers are “less than half a second and cost a hundredth of a cent,” that clicked for me. 2⃣ The mission alignment is real. WLFI wants U.S.-first compliance + institutional bridges + RWA expansion. Aptos already sits in that zone: BlackRock BUIDL, Franklin Templeton, all those integrations from the Libra heritage. It’s weird, but the pro-America talking points from $WLFI fit exactly with Aptos’ design choices. 3⃣ Aptos had the liquidity + ecosystem ready on Day 1. USD1 launched into a robust L1. It had Thala, Echelon, Hyperion, Tapp, Decibel, and $1.7B stablecoin liquidity already there. That’s why $USD1 hit $40M TVL within days, most chains can’t give that on week one. And here’s the bigger picture I’m watching: – Stablecoins are shifting from passive → yield-enabled. Ching basically said it: “We’re gonna start to get paid onchain.” If $USD1 really becomes the first mainstream yield-bearing stable, that’s a reshuffle of the entire stablecoin hierarchy. – RWAs are not a side quest anymore. Aptos is already past $1.2B RWA high-water mark. $WLFI wants to tokenize things like oil, timber, real estate. If those move onchain via Aptos rails, we’re talking trillions. – Crypto is moving closer to TradFi than CT wants to admit. This is compliance + speed + institutions using crypto infra because it’s simply better. And yeah, the political angle will attract regulatory attention, but it will also drag more Wall Street attention with it. WLFI choosing Aptos is a preview of how the next cycle will operate → fast chains, compliant stablecoins, and real assets moving onchain by default. Whether people like Trump or not doesn’t matter. The rails he chose tell you where the money is going.

aptos is one of those coins that used to walk around with confidence. $19 ath, big tech narrative, huge backers, shiny marketing… and now it’s sitting under $2 like someone unplugged the entire ecosystem while it was sleeping.
