A different outlook on $KAS price: against $BTC (Keep in mind that this chart has some time constraints, as it calculates from when KAS was live on Kucoin) We've been building a solid bottom since November '25 With the hard fork close, we might see a pump against the king soon https://t.co/t9JKS36Pri

For miners and pools, the Toccata guide has a specific warning. After activation, Toccata introduces v1 transactions with new fields that need to be preserved from block template to block submission. If pool or stratum software drops those fields, submitted blocks can be invalid after activation. That is the practical point. This is not a social-media upgrade. It touches mining infrastructure. Status: 🟡 scheduled, action required. $KAS

$KAS holder data keeps getting better 25.87% of supply has been sitting for 1-2 years 12.57% for 2-3 years 6.70% for 3-4 years thats not tourist behavior on the wallet side, Kaspa now has 742k+ addresses with 0.01+ KAS and 542k+ with 1+ KAS more holders, older supply and less short term noise price gets the attention, but this is where conviction shows up

Following @Max143672's awesome XMSS work on TN10, theres the other post-quantum road on Kaspa. We verified ML-DSA-44 (NIST FIPS-204) inside a @RiscZero zkVM and anchored the proof on-chain on TN10 using the KIP-16 ZK opcode. Hash-based signatures can live directly in script. Lattice-based ones are much heavier (SHAKE + NTT + polynomial arithmetic), so ZK becomes the practical route. This applies the existing RISC0 → Groth16 path to post-quantum signatures. TN10 proof-of-concept only. Tx: https://t.co/ayvGmVipYq Credit to @michaelsuttonil and @asaefstroem for KIP-16. Kaspa is an incredible technology.

An update on our post-quantum work on Kaspa - two new results on testnet. The pipeline: check a NIST post-quantum signature inside a zkVM, compress that to a succinct STARK (FRI/Poseidon2, no pairings), and have a Kaspa node verify the STARK on-chain via the KIP-16 opcode. A PQ-secured UTXO. A coin locked to an ML-DSA (Dilithium) key. To move it you supply a STARK proving a valid lattice signature over that exact spend, and the covenant reconstructs the message the proof must commit to (the input being spent, and the single output's amount and address) directly from the spending transaction via KIP-10 introspection. So a proof authorises spending that specific coin to that specific output: redirect the funds, change the amount, or add an output and the binding breaks. We tested both ways - the authorised spend confirmed, and a replay (a second coin funded to the same lock, same proof) was rejected; that coin is still parked unspent at the lock. SLH-DSA (hash-based) through the same pipeline - hash-based si

Toccata is cool and covenants are cool, and this is a really nice idea (and from my familiarity with Maxim I'm fairly certain it is superbly implemented, though I didn't check the actual code). BUT From a quantum cryptography perspective, saying this means Kaspa $kas is "ready for quantum computers" is jumping the gun by a few important leaps: 1. Hash based OTS sigs are very inefficient (in terms of space and computation) compared to NIST approved pq sigs (e.g. Falcon). The advantage of this construction is that it doesn't require a fork, but that's mostly conceptual because Kaspa will have to do a fork to properly quantum fortify anyway 2. Kaspa is much more susceptible to quantum mining attacks due to its high block rate and unconstrained DAA. This is a problem that doesn't have a solution yet. 3. Worse yet, the long term security relies on hash commitments, for which Kaspa uses MuHash. The post-quantum security of MuHash relies on a conjecture from the 90s that has been thoroughly debunked. Right now it's only secure on a "we couldn't find a way to break it yet" basis. What is sure is that with a rather cheap quantum computer search I can reduce the computational problem of breaking MuHash from "astronomically hard" to "uncomfortably hard with today's best known algo", where a *single successful attack* is enough to rewrite Kaspa's *entire history*. Bottom line: cool experiment, great application of covenants. But preparing for qday requires more. A lot more.

@Free_data0 Toccata HF lets us verify PQ signatures. So it will be possible to be ready for quantum computers by end of this month, at least on consensus side

KAS lacks sufficient quantum security and still requires a major upgrade to tackle quantum threats.
